Hi, my name is Boss, the Senior Manager of the Media and Marketing Team of RS Mall. I am a member of RS Mall. My duties are to plan and select a variety of products to be sold on various platforms of RS Mall, present our products on digital TV channels to suit the customer base of each channel so that customers get the products that fulfill their needs at reasonable prices. I have been working here for more than half a year. My job is fun and really challenging. We adapt to changes and work quickly. I think my job is enjoyable and gives me great experiences. In your view, what is RS like? I view that RS Group is a great Thai company and can grow much further in the future in this new era because we adapt quickly, whether in terms of the overall operational plans of the group and how the employees work in each line. Most importantly, I think that RS Group is a secure company. Why have you decided to work for RS? Well, for me, RS is a company that has a long history with Thai people since the 80’s. In fact, RS company has been there since before I was born. I think RS is a very secure company. RS GROUP Imposes COVID-19 Safety Measures To Stay Virus-Free For Health & Safety of Every Employee. COVID-19 outbreak has been with us since the beginning of 2020. Today, the number of new cases has been on the rise, adding to the accumulated cases daily. At RS, we are following the situation very closely and laid out preventive measures for COVID-19 at our workplace to mitigate any impact on employees’ health and to increase safety to our staffs, remote workers, and visitors of our offices. Current measures are:    Screen high-risked employees Every employee must go through a temperature check prior entering the building.  Allow employees to work from home Work from home protocol aims to reduce commute and promote social distancing to lower the risk of receiving and spreading the virus. Monitor and assess employees’ risk regularly by supervisors Management of each unit must regularly follow up on the timeline of every employee under his/her supervision. If one is at risk, the employee must be notified and quarantined for 14 days to monitor his/her symptoms. If an employee has any symptom or faces high risks, he/she must be tested for the virus at healthcare provider before returning to work. Or if a team member is tested positive for COVID-19, he/she can take sick leave for treatment and recovery.  Develop COVID-19 information center for employees The company shall compile information, measures, and announcement related to COVID-19 to ensure health and safety of employees during the outbreak. Impose social distancing at work For employees who have to work at RS GROUP office, social distancing has been implemented between colleagues at work hours and canteen. RS GROUP Organizes Training to Transform Channel 8 Correspondents Into Professional Reporters RS GROUP is committed to provide opportunities for its employees to enhance their skills and knowledge. Channel 8 correspondents are no exception, as they play an important role in delivering news and being the voice of the public. Journalism is no longer just about keeping up with the world to prepare news presentation accurately. Other skills, such as personality, communication styles, and reporting styles, are necessary for these correspondents. That is why RS executives organized a training course for our news reporters to develop high quality news reporters and staffs, with three main objectives, namely To develop professional look and communication styles of our reporters To inspire our staffs to produce quality news reporting To improve news development and reporting skills to make the program more interesting The training was divided into three parts, featuring widely recognized speakers in the media and entertainment industry of Thailand: Professional news reporter course, by  Khun Thapanee Eadsrichai, accomplished journalist with more than a decade of experience and numerous awards Professional makeup class, by Nongchat (Khun Chatchai Peangapichart), Thailand’s leading makeup artist Personality and communication class, by Kru Kong – Preediyuth Rattanangam, experienced trainer with a track record of training the country’s leading actors and actresses. At the end of the training, participants were impressed and refueled with passion in news reporting. The training also put them on a path in developing themselves into a successful journalist filled with confidence and comprehensive understanding of their own image as a reporter. Moving forward, RS GROUP plans to roll out different training courses for other employees to prepare the human capital necessary to drive the company’s success.
