RS Group Joins Hands with Baannokkamin Foundation,
Donating face masks and hand sanitizers to the impoverished and homeless people
After “The Secret of Happy Life” to fill the joy and smile to communities in Chatuchak District around the headquarters of RS Group at the end of last year, RS intends to continue improving the quality of life for children, community members, and impoverished people. Mr. Wittawat Wetchabutsakorn, CFO of RS Group, and Mr. Mr.Surachai Sukkieo-on or commonly known as Khru Ord, the Director of Baannokkamin Foundation, along with volunteers, artists, celebrities, and COOLJ (DJ of COOLfahrenheit radio), donated 700 sets of hand sanitizer gel and face masks to residents of communities in Chatuchak District and homeless people in Bangkok via the charity vehicle of the Foundation. In this activity, the charity team also educated passersby on how to take care of themselves during the outbreak.
This field visit allowed the charity participants to witness the smiles and tears of people in the community, which reflected how much stress and trouble the COVID-19 has brought upon people’s lives. With someone to help and share something they needed, they feel that society does not ignore them and that large corporates and impoverished people can live together and share what they have.
It is the beginning for RS Group to continue the projects that contribute to harmonious coexistence between the corporate and the community according to our key mission: to inspire and fulfill people’s lives with joy. The company will work with several agencies and sectors to elevate the quality of life for the poor and make this society more sustainable.
